Call on Congress to Defend Amnesty International in India!

What is happening?

On September 29th 2020, Amnesty International announced that it has been forced to suspend work upholding human rights in India following a “two-year campaign of government harassment” including the seizure of bank accounts, interrogation of employees and constant surveillance by the Indian Government.

Amnesty attributes being targeted by Indian government agencies to “our unequivocal calls for transparency in the government, more recently for accountability of the Delhi police and the Government of India regarding the grave human rights violations in Delhi riots and Jammu & Kashmir.”

How can you help?
